Prairie View Industries (PVI) was founded in 1991 by Richard Allen. He had a vision when he opened his store in Prairie View, Kansas to break down the barriers that prevented people from living an active and productive lifestyle.

He decided to create the multifold aluminum wheelchair ramp his company continues to sell today. His strong family values and inclusion of customers and employees has created not only a fantastic ramp, but a business the whole community is proud to be a part of.

For Richard Allen, treating customers and employees like family was a wise and intuitive intention. Proof of this success is in the nearly 200,000 square foot facility they now have in Fairbury, Nebraska. That is a massive amount of growth in 30 years!
