A fellow by the name of Nino Rensenberg, who suffers from polio, was often frustrated when he travelled because he always had to wait for his scooter to arrive with his luggage. He wanted a product that was foldable, light and that he could take on the plane with him. So he designed the “ATTO.”

The unit is sleek weighing a mere 62 pounds when put together. It can then be divided into two parts with the heaviest weighing only 36 pounds. This makes it especially easy to stow in the trunk of a taxi or in the airplane’s upper storage cabinet. It is airline-approved, foldable in seconds, and can be pulled behind you like a piece of luggage. When you are travelling, you simply ride your ATTO up to the gate, fold up your scooter, and roll it on board the airplane as a carry on.
It can go up to 10 miles on a single battery charge and zooms around at a top speed of 4 mph. The 48 Volt lithium-ion battery weighs only 4.1 pounds but packs a punch and provides enough energy to power the forceful motor. It is easy to see when you need a recharge just by looking at the battery gauge and it only takes 4 hours to fully recharge. You also have the choice of charging with the battery on board the scooter or off the unit for your convenience.
There are three seat settings for your comfort, ranging from 22 to 24 inches from the ground, with the option to add armrests. There is a fourth seat height available for children. The tiller can be adjusted in angle and height and there is ample storage underneath the seat big enough for groceries or shopping bags.
It has great maneuverability, which makes it easy to traverse crowds. The easy to read LED control panel has everything at your fingertips. It is extremely simple to operate, and the brakes are very responsive so you can come to a safe and smooth stop each time. You even have a reverse switch, a USB charging port for your media, and a horn!
