Atom Trike Mobility Scooter

Around 2009 when the owner of the future Atom Trike company was having his own mobility issues, he decided to design and manufacture the most technologically advanced electric folding chair on the market to date. Atom Trike was founded officially in 2015 by Mayer Bayer, who after solving his own mobility problems, wanted to extend his reach and help other people regain their freedom and independence like he had. His hips had deteriorated due to a post polio syndrome and it was difficult for him to get around and to work. He needed something for indoor and outdoor use, that didn’t weigh too much, and that he could take on an airplane, so he created a lightweight, easy to transport scooter. Each scooter is made in the United States, manufactured with a combination of carbon fiber and airplane-grade aluminum for a lighter but stronger wheelchair. All components of this electric wheelchair are custom and unique to this scooter. Read More.
